About me
I'm Victor Labigar, an Allround Creative Developer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and currently employed at CompanyData.com.
Background
My work lives at the intersection of design and front-end development. Right now, I’m building product experiences at Companydata.com. Before that, I spent years working on secondment on behalf of Saxum for major corporate players like Rabobank, Vodafone Ziggo, DSW, and Achmea, and my own practice, StudioViq. I don’t just implement designs; I craft interfaces. Whether I’m leading product development or refining a component system, my goal is the same: to build things that are accessible, performant, and truly useful for the people on the other side of the screen.
Offline
When I'm not behind my computer writing some code or reading about code, I enjoy spending time with my family, watch some movies or series and listen to some music. Going out to a dancefestival or a pub and grab some beers with friends is always a good excuse to get some distraction.
Writing
I always wanted to write some articles about web development, the kind of things I've bumped up onto in my road to become a (better) developer, and to challenge myself to publicly share my own content. I like to see this as some kind of my personal reference place where I can document the things that I'm learning and keep growing in many different ways. But if it helps you, to achieve whatever that is you're looking for, then it's a win-win situation right? :) Feel free to send a message btw.
Work
I work as an Allround Creative Developer at CompanyData.com, a startup based in Amsterdam. Companydata.com is a B2B platform that provides businesses with company databases for marketing and research, combining a self-service tool for direct access with a team of data experts who can help clients build custom lists over the phone.
